Colonel Gregory T. Breazile, USMC
Prior to deploying to Afghanistan, Colonel Breazile served in the Joint Staff J6, Enterprise Services Division. He has had a full career serving in both the enlisted and officer ranks within the United States Marine Corps. He began his enlisted service as a Marine Corps Reserve Anti-Tank Assault Man (TOW Gunner) and attained the rank of Corporal when he was accepted to the Platoon Leaders Class commissioning program. As a Marine Corps officer, Colonel Breazile was trained in tactical communications and has served the last 23 years as a Communications Officer. He has commanded at the platoon, company, and battalion levels. Colonel Breazile has completed multiple deployments in the Far East, Europe, and Middle East. He has served on the Headquarters Marine Corps Staff in Washington, D.C. and as the Marine Corps Forces G6 (Command, Control, Communication, & Information Technology) in Europe. Colonel Breazile has earned a Masters of Military Art and Science (MMAS) Degree from the Army Command and General Staff College, as well as a Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Information Management from Webster University. He has also attained a Master of Science (MS) Degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF). As a combat veteran, Colonel Breazile is an advocate for the joint warfighter.
