Association of Military Banks of America

Workshops

Each year the Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) holds a Spring Workshop in May coinciding with the annual Spring Luncheon.  In addition, AMBA holds an Annual Fall Workshop.  The 2015 AMBA Annual Fall Workshop will be held August 31 – September 2 in Leesburg, VA a short drive from Washington D.C.  Click on the links below for more information.

For over fifty-five years, AMBA has been the exclusive military banking trade association servicing the banking community and our nation’s armed forces. Through its mission of promoting financial independence and readiness, AMBA led the nation’s banking industry in working with the Department of Defense to implement major payday lending legislation which provides protections for service members and their families from potentially abusive lending practices and products, while preserving the availability of credit products and services that are beneficial and are the hallmark of military banks. AMBA conducts annual Fall and Spring Workshops for its members and government officials overseeing military banking.  The AMBA Fall Workshop is a three day program that provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the latest banking issues affecting the service members.
