Workshop Housing Update

The Grove Park Inn is a very popular destination and is currently in a “sold out” status over the dates of our workshop.  It is, therefore, imperative that you make your reservation at the Grove Park Inn before Monday, August 6, 2007.

In the event you are unable to secure a room at the Grove Park Inn, be advised that the Best Western Asheville Biltmore is extending a special rate offer from 09/16/2007 through 09/19/2007 for the Association of Military Banks of America.  The rate is $119.00 per night for standard king and double rooms plus 10.75% tax.  To access this special rate, you must call their reservations department (828-253-1851 or 888-854-6897) and mention that you are with the Association of Military Banks of America and that the group has a rate offer of $119.00 per night.  The reservationist will automatically extend the discounted rate to you.  

The discounted rate offer is based on availability, and will be offered as long as the hotel has sufficient availability on the requested dates.  We recommend that you make your reservation now and, in the event you must cancel, do so at that time according to the Best Western’s cancellation policy.

Government Rate Rooms

AMBA has contracted with the Best Western Asheville Biltmore for a block of government rate rooms for qualifying participants from 09/16/2007 through 09/19/2007.  The government rate room block is for the “Association of Military Banks of America.”  To acquire a government rate room, you must call their reservations department (828-253-1851 or 888-854-6897) BEFORE August 16, 2007 and mention that you are with the Association of Military Banks of America.  After August 16, 2007, the government rate will no longer be available so we recommend that you make your reservation now and, in the event you must cancel, do so at that time according to the Best Western’s cancellation policy.

Note to Golfers

It is likely that the Grove Park Inn Resort will be sold out on Saturday, September 15th.  In that case, the Best Western Asheville Biltmore is a nice option for a one night stay.  Contact the Best Western Asheville Biltmore at the number listed above and mention that you are with the Association of Military Banks of America and ask for the special rate.
