WORKSHOP OPTIONAL GOLF OUTING AND COMPANION PROGRAM Workshop Links: OPTIONAL GOLF OUTING AND COMPANION PROGRAM
Join us for a golf outing at the Ocean Course located on premise at The Breakers. All participants are asked to meet in the lobby of the hotel at 7:00 a.m. for transportation to the golf course. The first tee time is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. The Clubhouse does not have a snack bar so make sure to have breakfast at the hotel prior to 7:00 a.m. Optional Companion Tour Program: Tour registration deadline is August 14, 2009. If you plan on traveling to the Workshop a few days early, the AMBA Workshop is offering a Guided Intracoast Waterway Tour. The best way to view the beauty of Palm Beach is by taking a leisurely cruise by motorized catamaran. Enjoy a narrated scenic cruise along the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway and learn about the Palm Beach Mansions, Mega Yachts, the Port of Palm Beach, the Ocean Inlet and Peanut Island. Guests are to meet in the lobby of The Breakers at 1:15 p.m. and the tour concludes at 3:45 p.m. upon your return to The Breakers. The tour includes beverages and snacks. Worth Avenue Shopping: Monday, September 14, 2009, $20.00 per person. Shuttle service to and from Worth Avenue will be provided by the AMBA Workshop. Please meet in the lobby of the hotel at 11:00 a.m. for departure to Worth Avenue. Return transportation from Worth Avenue to The Breakers will be provided at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Drop off and pick up locations will be provided on-site. Airboat Tour and Flamingo Gardens: Tuesday, September 15, 2009, $200.00 per person. Climb aboard a state-of-the-art airboat for an unforgettable tour amidst the “sea of grass” found in one of the most beautiful habitats on earth – the Florida Everglades. This informative, fun and exciting tour takes you deep into Florida’s natural wonderland where you will come face-to-face with alligators, exotic birds and native fish while gliding over an endless river of grass. The airboat tour is led by experienced guides who point out the highlights along the trip such as the history of the Everglades and fascinating facts about the unique flora and fauna found here. Special stops are made along the way where you will see exotic birds and alligators just feet from the boat. Following the airboat tour, you will continue on to Flamingo Gardens, South Florida’s Not-for-Profit Botanical Gardens & Wildlife Sanctuary. This eco-experience showcases rare, exotic and native plants found on 60 acres of lush gardens as you tour the citrus groves, the Wray Botanical Collection and explore the Free-Flight Aviary, Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary and historic 1930s Wray Home. Guests are to meet in the lobby of The Breakers at 10:00 a.m. and the tour concludes at 4:15 p.m. upon your return to The Breakers. The tour includes beverages, snacks and a boxed lunch at the Pavillion at Flamingo Gardens. |
