Christiane Jacobs – Executive Assistant

christineChristiane P. Jacobs joined the Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) in November of 2005.

Christiane provides administrative support to the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Association. She is responsible for compiling and maintaining the membership roster, supporting the AMBA annual program service events, coordinating the sponsorship program, and working special projects. She monitors the AMBA website and participates on site at all AMBA annual events. Prior to coming to AMBA, she was employed by the Association of the United States Army for over ten years and served in the Membership and Meetings Directorate where she played a key role in organizing membership recruitment and retention programs.

The Association of Military Banks of America is a not-for-profit corporation representing banking institutions specializing in providing banking services for military personnel and their families around the world. Its membership includes banks operating on military installations, banks not located on military installations but serving military customers, and military banking facilities designated by the U.S. Treasury. The Association conducts two major program service events each year: the Appreciation Luncheon and Mini-Workshop held in conjunction with the annual Spring Board of Directors meeting in the Washington, DC area; and the Annual Fall Workshop held nationwide for members, Department of Defense banking personnel, FDIC, OCC, Treasury and the banking trade associations to exchange ideas and discuss the latest banking issues affecting military personnel and their families.

Christiane and her husband, Charles live in Prince William County, Virginia with their two sons, Christian and William.
