Good Morning!
My name is Melody and I work for the Department of the Navy at Commander, Navy Region Northwest in our Support Agreements section. I am assisting the Commanding Officer of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (Oak Harbor, WA) with the processing of a formal solicitation for an on-base financial institution. We have received authorization from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Financial Management and Comptroller (OASN (FM&C)) to begin the solicitation process.
Per the Department of Defense Directive 7000.14-R, Financial Management Regulation, Volume 12, Chapter 33 of August 2015, we are respectfully requesting a list of credit unions and banks in the Oak Harbor, Washington area eligible to receive the solicitation request.
To ensure that we maintain forward momentum on this process, respectfully request the list of eligible financial institutions be forwarded to me no later than September 30, 2015.
