The Association of Military Banks of America welcomes the new USAA Bank President Jamie Warder!  Congratulations Mr. Warder and we look forward to working with you.

From USAA Press Release

SAN ANTONIO – USAA announced today that Jamie Warder, former senior vice president of operations and contact centers at Capital One, has joined its executive team as president of USAA Bank. He will join USAA on Jan. 26, reporting to EVP and Chief Operating Officer Carl Liebert, and will be a member of USAA’s executive council.

“Jamie is the right person to lead USAA into the next generation of banking,” said Stuart Parker, CEO-elect of USAA. “As a former Army officer, he has a passion for our military members and their unique needs. Jamie is a recognized industry leader in direct banking and customer advocacy, and his record of leading teams and developing talent makes him a natural fit for USAA.”

During Warder’s tenure at Capital One, he was responsible for the national bank’s contact centers, operations, stores and physical distribution strategy. Prior to joining Capital One, Warder served as executive vice president of PNC Bank, where he held multiple roles leading consumer bank strategy, customer advocacy, mortgage servicing and multichannel distribution. Warder has also held significant roles at National City Bank and McKinsey & Company.

“USAA Bank is a leader in delivering exceptional experiences and innovative solutions for the military community that serves us every day,” Warder said. “I’m excited to help lead a company I’ve admired for 20 years as a member.”

Warder holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the U.S. Military Academy and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
